COVID-19 Updates


An update to the restrictions:

As the government has allowed us to seat more patrons, we have lowered the minimum spend per person to $35 ($15 for children under 12).

New Govt Guideline: Each patron in attendance, over the age of 18, must provide their contact information before being seated.

We have disabled our online booking tool due to seating restrictions. Bookings can be made via email or telephone only.

Our Ristorante is back!

Re-opening Friday 15th May

Due to COVID restrictions, there are some temporary changes that will be in effect, as we are limited to 10 patrons in the restaurant at any one time.

1. We will have 2 standard seatings so that we may accommodate 20 patrons per evening:
5:30pm – 7:15pm & 7:30pm – 9:30pm

This allows us the necessary time to sanitise each table, chair & menu and re-set the tables for the next seating.

2. We will be offering a slightly reduced menu with some special items, however all our salads, pizzas, pastas, veal & chicken dishes & drinks will be available.

3. To make the re-opening of the ristorante viable, there will be a minimum spend in effect of $45pp, averaged over the table. For a group of 4, the minimum spend is $180. You can have any combination of entrees, mains, desserts, drinks, etc. that you desire.

To maintain social distancing requirements, there will be designated tables with adequate spacing between them.

We hope you all understand that these changes are necessary for us to provide the dining experience you all love.

We would like to assure all of our customers that the management & staff at lazana are taking every precaution to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. We have tightened our health & safety guidelines and re-educated all staff in accordance with the governments latest recommendations.

Staff have been advised to remain home if unwell and are checked for symptoms of sickness, before they are allowed to begin their shifts.

All staff will be wearing gloves and a face mask whilst they are on the premises and will be changing gloves & cleaning their hands regularly.

All surfaces in the shop have been disinfected and will be continuously disinfected throughout operations.

We have also implemented a contactless pick-up & delivery service. In light of this, we request all customers to pay by credit/debit card where possible. Please use the hand sanitiser provided before touching the pin-pad, even though it will be sanitised regularly. Cash will still be accepted if required.

We have implemented a 1.5m social distancing procedure for staff & customers. When picking up your order, we ask that you maintain a 1.5m radius from staff and other customers. For Deliveries, drivers will call you on arrival and then leave the food in the agreed upon location.

In an effort to keep all of our staff employed during this crisis (including our ristorante staff), we are rotating our roster and re-training staff in other roles. We ask that you remain patient during this transition.
